A Day in the Life as a Youth Cultural Liaison Project Coordinator
As the project coordinator, you arrive each day ready to make a positive difference in the lives of Native American youth. The Youth Cultural Liaison is a program focused on reducing the over-representation of Native American youth in the juvenile justice system.

You get to spend some of your time in a program-development role involving training, planning, and researching culturally relevant programs. You also get to spend some of your time in a direct-service role. You participate in managing cases, crisis interventions, goal setting, assessments, and resource referrals for youth who are diverted from the juvenile justice system.

You love that you get to be involved in such a variety of tasks and get great satisfaction out of making a positive impact in the lives of those you serve.


  • Education in human services or a related field
  • Related work experience
  • Ability to pass a background check

Do you believe you have the skills necessary to work with at-risk Native American youth? Do you have the ability and willingness to collaborate with others? Are you self-motivated?
